learning to blog
this is like journal writing...do you have enough time to journal? Do i want to journal? do you really want people to see what you have written and comment on your sentence structure, grammar and thoughts? there is a lot to learn and as you get older can you remember all that you blogged? maybe this will be like the movie 50 first dates you can go back and read what you posted and review and wonder why you said that and did you really say that?

Hi librarylady,
It was great to see you yesterday. Hope that you have a nice weekend. Talk to you soon.

Wow, isn't that the truth. Of course, nowadays, I need a journal to remember what I had for breakfast.
Actually, you hit the nail on the head. The archiving features of the blog is pretty cool.
Uhm, so I guess I haven't looked around enough, I wasn't cognizant of an archive button. I'll go check that next. Thanks for the idea! Kim
Welcome to Longmont!! My husband and I have been here for 17 years and just love it! I enjoy driving the 10 miles to LYMDSR every day and looking at the beautiful mountains! I'm glad that you are a part of this class! We will all journal together!
I journal a lot because I want to look back and remember what I was thinking. It will be fun to get to know eachother and share the journey of technology.
thanks for leaving a comment this is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I made an attempt to follow the directions on blogline and it was very difficult. I think I need better directions. My comments after reading the links is that they do open up lots of possiblities but who has all that time to read or follow 10-80 blogs...do they not have a life? I was impressed by the high school girls blog and how well they write. Now are they better writers because they blog and really think about what they want to say or are they writers who want people to see what they write? any way they made me jealous because I am not a good writer and like any thing you want to do well you must practice, practice, practice. I hope this is what I was suppose to do for homework.
Hi Maddy,
I agree, it is too much info sometimes. I haven't read the RSS Thing 3 yet, but I hope that will give us a way to pare down the info to the items that we are really interested in.
Maddie,
When you have time, maybe post your reflection on Thing #1, and then another post with your reflection on Thing #2. Don't worry about Thing #3 until after our class. I will try to make the "Things" more clear. Each week, we will cover only 2 Things. ...then do the homework activities. On Mondays, I will post the next Thing or next 2 Things that we will cover in the next class. You are only responsible for 2 Things per week. Some people just like to read what is coming up -- if you don't have time: don't worry about them! We'll review things in class before we tacklt the new topics.
I am so enjoying this blog and comment feature. It was scarry to consider putting thoughts on a page for all to view. But I find it a great help to see that we are all in this together. We will suceed and excell because we have each other and the incredible Myra.
Bog on!
