Thing #3

Now that I have finally had a chance to figure out RSS I know I don't need to keep up with the 'news" I don't read the daily newspaper if I don't hear it on the radio or 10 o'clock nightly news I don't know about and don't need to know about it. I can see if you are in a business that things keep changing on a daily basis and need to know what is going on. RSS is a good link to use if you need to be connected to all of these blogs but I don't think i will be needing it any time soon.

Thing #4

Technorati: it is truly another search engine. I looked at entertainment, home decorating and finally middle school book list....nothing....middle school reluctant readers...nothing I wanted to take the time to read....I got lots of Christian book clubs not what I was looking for. This site reminds me of looking at a Readers Digest any thing you are looking for is in here. I can see how trying to find that unusual answer to that unusual question can be found on this site. Interesting.... will I remember to use it...probably not. We are creatures of habit...we just learned how to use the computer and the Internet and get rid of the typewriter (unless you are at Sunset and still use it) now there is something else out there to I need to learn? Maybe?? I am still learning how to use text messaging on my phone and all of the other links to my cell phone...there is a tip calculator...which I need to know how to use:) (found it by accident) I learned how to text Goggle on my cell phone and get a business if I need to know the address to put in my GPS or get the phone number to see if they are still opened or find the local theater if I am not home to get the movie times or what movies are coming out....those are useful tools for me MAYBE if I get the hang of Technorati it may become useful to me also.

clicking buttons

where oh where are all the buttons to click?

learning to blog

this is like journal writing...do you have enough time to journal? Do i want to journal? do you really want people to see what you have written and comment on your sentence structure, grammar and thoughts? there is a lot to learn and as you get older can you remember all that you blogged? maybe this will be like the movie 50 first dates you can go back and read what you posted and review and wonder why you said that and did you really say that?
